What a relief to be back in the bubble. I was not only mentally ill but physically ill as well by the time I pulled my Asp Ex into Jameson Memorial. I was even flagged by the medical team and taken directly to the medbay where they ran a series of tests and confirmed I was suffering from... malnutrition? Yep. Something so simple can have big consequences. Turns out my rations were not complete. I picked the ones I liked and discarded the ones I didn't, not realizing that they needed to be utilized together to form adequate nutrition over long periods of time. We can get a way with it over shorter periods, but over longer stretches, the effects of malnutrition become cumulative, and they begin to cause other problems, like hallucinations. I don't even remember the final stretch of my journey. It was a mad dash though and I must have set some records as I traveled over 6400 Ly in a matter of a few hours. And somehow I scanned a ton of data too. Enough that when I turned it in, I was notified by the Pilot's Federation that I had achieved the rank of Elite Explorer.

My lowly trade rank of Broker looks a little lackluster. Gonna need to work on that...
Of course being back in inhabited space is probably much more dangerous that being out in the expanse. I have already had a number of interdictions since I have returned. Of course, they all regret picking on an Elite combateer in a highly engineered Corvette. I mean, honestly, what did they think was going to happen?

While the jump range on the Rocinante is... unfortunate... the large holds and excellent defenses make it a worthy trade vessel... As long as you have the patience. Time to get to work.
