Out into the Black - Episode 1

Thought it was time I started recording my experiences again. After a long hiatus planetside (The Capitol), have headed into space again.Since I've been back in the cockpit, I have traded, run missions, bounty hunted, and even got into Void Opal mining. After much 'hit and miss' there, I finally put together enough credits to refit my AspX for Deep Space Exploration. Yes, I know, if I had stayed with the VO mining, would've become even richer. But, while I did enjoy, my end-goal was credits for exploration, which I achieved fairly quickly.
I kept 'Thunder's Truck', my AspX originally bought and outfitted for Rares Trading, then refitted for pax/rescue missions, and now finally for exploration. She has an engineered FSD, Sensors and Power Plant, and didn't feel like re-engineering another AspX, as was originally my plan.
I am now just past Jackson's Lighthouse, parked on a planet/moon in Col 285 Sector BA-P c6-28. My next planned stop is somewhere around Synuefe EN-Q d6-38, but I may divert if something interesting catches my eye. This is an exploration trip, with no specific timeline or route, I want to see the sights, so am in no hurry. My end destination here is PMD2009 48, if I get to it through all the permit-locked systems that are apparently in the area. But that is not a concern, I will merely find somewhere else to go if I am unable to reach that destination.
I have no idea how often I will make these entries, whether or not they will include images, or even how detailed they will be. I am currently exploring the planet/moon I'm on with my SRV, so might get some shots from them, we shall see.
