Out into the Black - Episode 5

I am constantly amazed at the sights of our Milky Way, however they were put there, it is a wonder.I stopped off at the Gorgon Research Facility, and promptly become allied with the Life Sciences Expedition after handing in a chunk of carto data. I think I am allied with most of the asteroid bases, for this reason. Oh well, will serve me well when passing through in future. Even with decay, should remain on good terms at least.
I encountered many stars, and a black hole or two, in NGC 7822. It's still freaky and surreal flying near a black hole, they have fascinated me since I was a kid in, well, I can't recall that. But never forgot my fascination with the wonders of the universe. I will get images of one eventually, just not this time round.
I am currently on my way back to the bubble as mentioned in my previous journal entry, and have decided that my Asp Explorer, 'Thunder's Truck', will become my dedicated exploration ship. I am signed up for the Apollo 11 Anniversary Expedition, starting at the beginning of July from HIP 23759. By then, she should have a longer jump range as well as some other Engineering geared towards exploration. I have also finally figured out how to synthesize Jumponium of all grades, and have the required mats, so will be taking that along as well, which will be useful for the longer jumps that may be required.
I will make a final entry once I have docked in Deciat at Farseer's place, unless something significant happens to me on the way there, of course. Looking forward to having drinks with her again, she is a wealth of knowledge. Do no underestimate her aged look, to do so will be at your peril.
