This morning reports came in from around the bubble that the first of the "Stargoids" has reached inhabited space. Taranis arrived in the Hyades Sector FB-N b7-6 system and has in a very short time taken over twenty star systems in the surrounding area, making somewhat of a Thargoid bubble. Upon hearing the reports I immediately left in a scout ship and headed to HIP 23816 system, this system was chosen because it was reported to be abandoned. When I entered the system I plotted a course for Henson Dock. There were no signal sources in system and dropping out of supercruse at the station there seemed to be no sign of Thargoids in the area. I moved in closer to the station and received an automated message telling me to turn back, I did not heed this warning and push on closer. The station was enveloped in the normal Thargoid cloud, but unlike before the station was dark, completely off line and the mail slot security doors were closed tight and only minimal power detected, I managed to gain access to an internal camera but only found darkness and debris. I was able to get a few pictures of the destruction before my sensors four Thargoid scouts, I low waked out of there fast but was then interdicted by a larger Thargoid, I then selected a random system and jumped away with only 17% hull left. I returned to Imperial space to give my report to ISC. This is the biggest threat ever seen by the Empire, even in our wars with the Federation we knew total annihilation was never going to happen but with the Thargoids it is a very real possibility.
