LONG RANGE STARPOST OPERATIONS: Business was a little too good today - several delivery jobs out of Almagest meant Takurua and Te Kaha didn't have their sludge holds completely cleared. Total estimated profit was around 17 million credits.LONG RANGE OUTPOST OPERATIONS: Also a good day for outpost shipping - had to turn down one job from a local cartel due to lack of hold space. Did not clean out any sludge holds. Total estimated profit was about 14 million credits.
SECURITY INITIATIVE: Another quiet day. Sentinel pilot complained of having nothing to do. Told him to quit crying and I'd send him out tomorrow; otherwise I could have him clean sludge holds. Pilot STFU. Added 3 new long-term contracts to keep him busy.
MINING OPERATIONS: A pristine metallic site was identified about 14Ly at HIP 11879, second planet, A ring. Extraction operations are expected to commence by weekend.
All told, things are looking great just three days in. Tons of money to be made, loads of material to extract, and an apparently endless pile of sludge to haul off and trade for food. Think we should tell the station folks we bring the food in the same ship we use to haul off the sludge?
