LONG RANGE STARPORT OPERATIONS: LRSO functioned flawlessly over the weekend, ensuring all sludge holds on its route were clear as well as handling shipping assignments and daily transport of Newcombe's food supplies.LONG RANGE OUTPOST OPERATIONS: LROO continues to be the leading moneymaker for DSI, with each standard delivery contract now pulling in close to a million credits per run. With cash like this, who needs to smuggle?
SECURITY INITIATIVE: A security sweep of Sothis was initiated over the weekend, with 10 pirates and 2 contracts meeting their ends.
MINING INITIATIVE: MMP 1337 was found to be incredibly lacking for deep-space mining. Building the platform onto a Type 7 freighter frame resulted in an underpowered platform that could only land on large pads. Asked for and received from HQ permission to liquidate the MMP as well as our old outpost trade vessel and take funds out of the operating budget to purchase a new MMP built onto a Python frame. MMP Alpha 1-1 offered a serious boost to productivity over the old MMP, even with a smaller hold. HIP 11879 was chosen as the mining site and was deemed suitable, with decent lighting and ample supplies of targeted minerals.
