Spooky Guardians

Those Guardian Sentries are usually pretty easy to dispatch. But, get hit with one of those missles and you'll find your SRV upside down and thrown around. I got hit and it busted the front axle against one of those pillars that contain Guardian Components in it. Needless to say, I had to rinse and repeat to activate the Data Core. We need about 6 weapon blueprints to trade. Lena is not feeling very well and has been holed up in her quarters, so she is no help right now. I've been going over various mission reports and data entries ensuring everything is up to date. All systems are in the green and we just arrived at the SYNUEFE GV-T B50-4 system to fire up that data core on B1 for some weapon blueprints. Whenever I hit up a Data Core, I always drive the SRV like grandma. Head on a swivel. Only activating one Pillar at a time. Those sentinels are only a serious threat when they have numbers on you, so I take those out 1 by 1 ASAP. It seems as though their sensors have been weakened over time as I can usually hide from them pretty well and shoot at them from the pocket, clipping their "wings". Those places just weird me out. I always feel like I am gonna round the corner and see something that will spook me. Thank God SRVs provide telepresence functionality! Deploying SRV now....

That was the easiest time I had accessing a Guardian Data Core. Only saw 3 Sentinels and took all 3 with stealth. I was surprised at the use of the Relic instead of the Key. I always pack both just in case the other doesn't do the job. I took the KoS into a Synchronous Orbit around the planet. It's late and I need some sleep. There is no way I am staying anywhere on the planet while I am asleep. Not that it's any safer, but I will actually get some sleep up here. In the morning, we'll go back down there and activate it again. Ive got 14 Keys and Relics, well those can be found on site so, plenty of fodder to sacrifice at the glowing blue alter of Guardian Data tomorrow. Goodnight!
