As I was settling down to my first beer Mario plopped into the seat next to me. He showed me pictures of some girls that used to work at the Spanish Fly. “Recognize any of them?” he said.“This one. That’s Penny.”
“I thought so,” he said. “She didn’t work out here. We want repeat business, but she just gave them what they paid for and went on to the next.
“I can get you an introduction to the manager of her new place if you do a small job for me.”
“What kind of job?” I inquired, not wanting to do something to get me or Penny in trouble.
“Just deliver a list of girls we think might do well at his place and a query asking if he knows anyone that might meet our needs. Sending a message through official channels gets real expensive, sometimes more expensive than sending the girls.”
“Where to?”
“Gilliand Ring, LTT 1798, about 40 LY away.”
“I’ll do it,” I agreed reaching over the table to shake his hand.
