The Olive Grove

I made it to the address I was given for the Organ Grinder, the brothel my sister Penny had been taken to. It wasn’t there. The Organ Grinder was described as the worst type of brothel in existence. Dirty with unkempt whores, broken furniture and watered beer. The atmosphere wasn’t one to encourage lingering or choosing a favorite companion.
The new sign was for a place called the Olive Grove. I checked the address a few times, gathered my courage and went in.
The reception area was clean with a hint of a pleasant aroma. A recessed area was furnished with serval clearly new chairs and a lower table. Neat the main entrance was a podium, behind which stood a pretty girl in a tight fitting dress. This girl, I surmised, was the club's receptionist, and was even now regarding me with a warm smile.
Beyond the podium was a closed door. During my time at the Olive Grove I was to learn that the bar area behind the door, as well as the other areas, was just as clean and neat. The bar lighting was calculated to best show the ladies, bright enough to allow admiration but dim enough with a hint of rosy glow to mask any imperfections.
I approached the receptionist, whose name I later learned was Suki, told her I was looking for a friend who had transferred to the Organ Grinder a year ago and asked if she knew anything about the old place.
Suki told me the Organ Grinder had been purchased recently by Jemine Caesar and most of the ladies worked there now. If I would give my name she would make a booking with my friend for me.
I gave her my name, and Penny’s. When she didn’t seem sure about who Penny was I showed her an old picture of her. Suki recognized the family resemblance and I admitted that Penny was my sister and I was not looking for her professional friendship.
Suki told me she remembered Penny from the picture, but she had left the Organ Grinder six months ago. She remembered who took her because the man’s name, Elephant, did not match his size and he was so proud of being a member of the Sirius Silver Mafia.
Thanks to Jemine Caesar for letting me play in her establishment.
