Christmas greetings
22 Dec 2019The Presence
Bah Humbug, kiss my hairy swingers, I hate this season, plays havoc with my Lumbago and being as poor as a church mouse presents are an expense I can (and do) do without. That being said I'm being a busy beaver unlocking permits left right, central, up, down and all around in anticipation of the forthcoming (and much talked of) mining nerf. From what I've read and heard the markets will accept a certain amount of a good (like Painite) for top dollar then the price will slide down as the market gets saturated. There are basically two ways of countering this, mine fast and small amounts (Where's my python?) or have a trail of markets to go to, selling high and buying up lesser goods to turn a profit on those en route. Markets that are lesser travelled have a greater chance of paying top dollar when you get there and those requiring permits the greatest chance of all. (There are several permit locked systems that pay well for "The Good Stuff" but I'm buggered if I'm sharing that info too! Grind your own path!). The trick is to end up at your home base (or a stop before) with a highly wanted bulk commodity (Foodstuffs or biowaste spring to mind) enabling you to empty your hold for a tidy profit and change to the next ship of choice.
