On old Earth, today would have been Father's Day.I've been so caught up in making it to and from Beagle Point, that I forgot to update my log for days. The long and the short of it is that I made it, and I even pushed on to Salomé's Reach, which was a pain in the butt! It took forever to pick my way to it and back. Now I'm partway through the long journey back. I write this from "The Gates of Tartarus," more mundanely known as Dryiquae IR-N e6-0. I'm not spending a lot of time scanning, but I am plotting my way back to Explorer's Achorage via various points of interest, just to break up the monotony of the long voyage.
I love exploration, but I am ready to be back in the bubble. Space madness is in full bloom, and I'm ready to trade and interact with other ships. Maybe get my Elite in trade and Rear Admiral in the Federation. Who knows? Just something that doesn't involve weeks upon weeks of jumping in the black.
