Another day, another dollar?

With over 10k hours in-game already it's time to start a log! Now that I can read & write, courtesy of Silverback nursery school in Arexe. Coming second to last in class studies, I know they'll be many mistooks but I'm willing to give it a go. As the amateur gynecologist said, "I'm not an expert but I'll have a look."
Day one start proper. Basics to be getting on with. I have 10 delivery missions Missh Moneypenny. Carried over from a late visit last night to Oswald Park in Kojeara. These are quite lucrative around 6M a pop. The down side to this is that I can only use a medium size boat for these. So it will be multiple trips. You'd think this'll keep me out of trouble but alas, no. In order to bolster my income I have grabbed at any data missions that need to be delivered as well. Unfortunately these usually come with accompanied hazards like bad guys wanting to stop you! Incoming Alert my Asp. Seems they come in groups of 4. So a handful of these missions and I have a small army chasing me down.
Normally I wouldn't be bothered as my trusty Piffon can handle herself. Let me introduce you to Elemental Child. I named her after a track on T.Rex's '70s album Electric Warrior. I thought it appropriate considering...
She is well armoured for a cargo boat with a slightly smaller Prismatic shield allowing me to fit larger Cargo holds in that slot. With some engineered Frags including a couple of Imperial Hammers she can look after herself even against the biggest bad guys. Only problem is that after say 2 encounters I have to run as the ammo becomes an issue.
It's going to be a relay day at the office it seems. Most of the trips are to Dove Enigma which is just a little too far away to be enjoyable and gives the pesky bad guys a chance to interdict me. I do have a few to Colonia Orbital. I'm hoping that on these deliveries I can grab a couple of real gems, I mean seriously good money making deals. For example I managed to find by accident a 50M payday to mine a couple hundred Gold or even Silver. Now I can buy this stuff for pennies and turn it into a real good profit.
It all helps keep the missus in nail polish. I'm gonna stop blethering here and get started. Let's see what the day brings shall we?
I said earlier she can handle herself, well she did well there. I'm proud. Interdicted by a Dangerous Anaconda, I dropped and entered the combat. Almost immediately another 'conda dropped who wasn't on my side. After the skirmish it was 2-0 to us however, shields were stripped bare and hull was down to 48%. Don't get me wrong, I've been in hairier situations. I remember the time I managed to get home after combat with the hull at zero %. Yes 0%! I have the photo to prove it. Big difference though when you are psyched up for combat in a combat vessel ready to put it all out there but not the same in a cargo boat with someone else's goods in yer hold. My skinny little bottom was only twitchin' a bit.
Well yesterday finished well. I think I topped up the coffers to a shade under half a billion. Managed to get a few kill peerats into the bargain. Whilst doing my delivery missions I grabbed any data missions hoping to get some material rewards. I knew that incoming enemy alerts are usual but I had a couple of Firsts. One of those data missions had, wait for it, 9 bandits. Now that is the highest I've ever seen. Usually it's either 3 or 4 but I had a 5 as well. So it looks like someone is upping their game and forcing me too.
Well it's just gone midnight and I'm out at a low res site rounding off the stacked missions. The No Look Here Gang don't like me.
Best thing about the day so far is that I woke up. Need to check out the old mission board and try adding some mullah to the coffers.
I have found a few kill the No Look Here Gang peerats again. I've to kill them in bunches mostly but I have a few individual bad boys to terminate. One in particular has already got me angry. He goes by the name of John The Cool Vegetarian. If any of you guys out there sees him, tell him big K is lookin' out for 'im will ya? I'm a carnivore!
Anuvver new day and I'm just logging in. A bit late but I've been busy already. Having a fleet the size of mine takes a lot of looking after. This month I've had at least 3 MOT's already and I had another today. Passed with flying colours, (Excuse the pun.) So we are all good to go. let's check out the mission board. I'll get back to you with what's next. If there's nothing interesting then I might have a leisurely day driving about some planet surfae looking for materials.
