Begin log file: Personal Log of Commander Alexandria Webb “MediaMagnet”The sound of the engines powering down can be heard in the background.
“Alix, secure the ship, and prepare the SRV. Midnight you’re with me. Let’s see what someone was trying to hide out here…“ she collects her rifle and sidearm as she leaves the cockpit of Isiyari's Hope and heads down to the vehicle bay sitting in the driver’s seat she powers up the SRV as Alix chimes in “Drive Assist on, Low gravity warning.” Followed by a simple “Here Commander.” from Midnight.
She hits the deploy on the lap panel and feels a bump as the Scarab is lowered out of the DBX’s belly before she rolls out from under the ship her turret deploying followed by a quick shuffle of the power distribution and pushing the throttle forward a little knowing the thing likes to turtle in the low gravity. The SRV rolls up onto the signal as Alix warns about an exclusion zone and two sentry drones pop out of what seemed like nowhere. “The fuck?” she locks onto the first drone as she shuffles power from engines to weapons popping the sentry before it had a chance to react, switching to the other as the first lands in a pile of wreckage she brings the other down.
Getting an all clear from Midnight “Alright lets see what you’re hiding.” Setting the parking break on the SRV she steps out her boots crunching on the icy ground as her helmet’s HUD proudly and ironically declares ‘First footfall confirmed’ which gets a small chuckle from Alex as she heads to the metal hatch in the ground kneeling down she pulls her scanner out and scans it for a manifest which comes up empty. Sighing she heads back to the SRV to return to her Diamondback stopping to scan the data point with the SRV’s scanners before leaving. Pulling back under the DBX, and watching as the arms come down to pull the SRV back in the COVAS confirming a solid capture she heads back up to the cockpit and takes off boosting away from the strange storage box and back towards her home port.
