Another day of mining and that's how the next few days will be, I won't have much to report, looking out the window and seeing the collector drones is like seeing a bunch of blue fireflies. But there comes a time when even the most boring job must be done, and that's right before going to sleep.
So here I am, taking care of my ship while my computer does its thing, collecting the metals. And as I do, I think about the future. How can I improve? What will I do when I grow older? Should I find a partner? Or should I try to become a solo trader? Meanwhile my girlfriend watches me work carrying the ship with her long pink hair trailing behind her like a waterfall.
She's a great girl and I love her dearly, but there are times where I wonder if she wants more from me than just being my girlfriend. Our relationship is a bit complex, we met each other during our piloting classes and immediately fell in love.
We became lovers soon after and have been together ever since. She's a skilled flyer, and is always teaching me new things, and I'm always happy to learn.
There are times where I catch her staring into space, and I know she's thinking about our future. I don't want to spoil anything, but I hope she'll be mine forever.
I've been talking to some friends who are pilots and they say that it's common for young couples to not get married. I personally think that marriage isn't necessary, but I guess that's up to my girlfriend.
It will be another day of mining and a lot of time spent in my mining ship.
