The Thargoids have no limits, I just found out that they are going ashore and destroying different human settlements, the systems are already uninhabited, and they have hired me to restore power to a settlement and rescue some important data for the INARA NEXUS faction, but it's just me, when I arrived at the settlement everything seemed calm and suddenly some green lights began to shine everywhere, they were Thargoid drones, their caustic lasers were wreaking havoc on both my spaceship and my suit.
I managed to collect my equipment from the ship before it was blown to pieces, but now I'm here, trapped, unable to communicate with the outside world and constantly besieged by more Thargoid Revenants that keep coming and coming, my only chance to survive is that some member of my Fleet receives my distress message, I sent it just before my spaceship was destroyed, but now we just have to wait, in this settlement, now with energy, there are enough supplies and ammunition to continue this skirmish... but I'm alone. The system has been evacuated, the inhabitants have fled into hyperspace, and I don't have the means to leave... I'll wait for help, if it doesn't come, I'll fight until the last minute.

I've heard many things about the Thargoids, but never expected to see one of their drones right in front of me so close to Earth... They're huge, all black, their wings are covered in scales or plates, very hard to distinguish what they really look like, but I know that they're dangerous, the ones I saw were armed with a caustic laser, which was able to burn through my starship's armor. I have no idea how I survived, I can only guess that the shield of my suit protected me from the attack, I was lucky! But now I'm here, stuck, no way to communicate with anyone, they must have left the station without realizing that the power had returned and I was still here, this settlement doesn't seem to be completely abandoned, there are several buildings that are intact, and some weapons that might be useful in case of emergency...
