The system authorities of Priviatem, home to the "Interstellar Beer Runners", have failed to contain the Thargoid infestation despite a concerted defense effort, and is now in a state of emergency.

The PFLB rescue carrier "Calgary One" is responding to reports of an attack on a local station.

The starport "Wilhelm Gateway" is now burning; and rescue efforts are being hampered by the fact that all injured personnel express their pain, frustration, and terror using exactly the same voice.

Commanders Folco Took (HAXCOM) and Wingnut (HAXBOX) of the Hutton Anti-Xeno Squadron HAX WING, were the first responders to the incident - arriving only minutes after the ship dropped out of hyperspace.

The battle continues tonight in Wyrd, where the home system of the mysterious Engineer known only as "The Dweller" has come under attack from marauding Thargoid Interceptors and their Scout escorts.

Two ships from the Hutton Anti-Xeno squadron HAX WING were suddenly joined by a third, and engaged two Basilisk Interceptors, successfully destroying the second following a protracted one-hour firefight.

The Commanders defending Wyrd have been identified as Folco Took [HAXCOM], O'khayyam [HAX-OK], and Wingnut [HAXBOX] arriving late (following the success of Operation "Combo Breaker" in Priviatem.)

This event marks a significant milestone - the first successful team kill of a Thargoid Interceptor in Wingnut's two-year career.
