LAUNCH: 02/22/3305 - 0308Z, Eos Free BQ-G c13-140 - 1 bDESTINATION: Dryau Ausms KG-Y e3390 - AB 2 a
LANDING: 02/22/3305 - 0513Z, Boewnst KS-S c20-959 - Polo Harbour
LOG: Some of the canyons on that icy moon I landed on are over 4km deep! Even the shallower ones are still over 2 km down from the ice surface. Sitting at the edge of a 4km cliff in an SRV is something I don't think I'll ever forget. I'll be uploading some of the images after I've had a shower and some fresh chow.
The Sag A* station construction has started. The docking hub is already up and running, but doesn't have much in the way of services. Most notably, no cartographic network access.
I'm not keen on the idea of losing all the data on the amazing things I've found in a mining accident, so I decided to neutron boost my way back to Polo Harbour so I could turn it all in, and get the GNC systems checked out after the solar flare incident. Found a lot of undiscovered neutron stars on the trip back. I don't even care about the credits at this point, I just want to find useful and interesting things, and neutron stars, at least to me, qualify as both.
Hopefully I can boost my way back to Eos Free a little later today and pick up where I left off.
