To Colonia, and Beyond - Personal Log - to Beagle Point - Week 1

Note to self: bring an SRV on the return trip; I don't care if it prolongs the journey. This should've taken much longer, but without an SRV, it was either head back, or just honk, scan and move on. I chose the latter.
I can't believe I didn't bring my SRV. One week. 45,000 lightyears. Over 700 systems. I've passed so many amazing views and scanned so many planets with valuable minerals and ore that I couldn't take advantage of, not to mention the rest and relaxation of simply sitting on a planet's surface, even if I'm stuck inside an SRV. I need real gravity; even a 4G world might feel nice.
I'm about 1kLY from Beagle Point, and I honestly have no idea what's there. A place to land? People? Most of my crew stayed beyond in Colonia. I'd welcome a tourist or two. I'm already ready to go home, and I'm not even there yet.
Verity, recompute my course for Beagle Point; fastest route possible. Oh, and stop recording.
