Lost in Space

Cobra Wing community goal was crazy, I never seem so many bad commanders interdicting me. This time I was prepared, thanks to The Silverbacks I was able to flee 3 interdictions and even manage to fight back one of then. With flight assist off was much easier to avoid the shots and with 4 dots in shields instead of 2 I managed to stay alive long enough to make the jump. I did 2 deliveries, and one of then very risky because I was clumsy and collided with another ship. A small fee but it looks like a bounty in my head and I had to flee one more griefer and a another pilot pretending to be a police officer. He was accusing me of bounty hunting. My python is indeed an well armed combat ship but first of all I wasn't attacking anyone and second bounty hunter isn't a crime at this sector so I knew it wasn't a real officer after all, I don't know it's motives but I was able to run loosing only one point of shield. I finally get how to not get killed. After that I went to some missions, first two missions getting data from a planet. With an SRV wasn't much trouble and I manage to get some money. But the next mission it's been a very hard one. I pick a passenger, another famous explorer that until now I was unaware of. I must confess that I didn't research much about this topic but most of these famous explorers aren't known galaxy wide anyway. I took the mission, it would be a long one but I was thinking it would be easy to plot a route. 8000 ly is not that much, I already traveled much longer distances with much less jump range. My Krait MkII have now a guardian jump range module getting 49.5ly with full tank.
But I see now that I have yet much to learn. As an inept explorer I plot my route with a straight line and 1000ly interval, everything was ok until I got to the 8th way point. My ships computer was unable to plot the route to the next way point I'm now handpicking stars to become closer to the next. Sometimes my ship computer fail even on an 100ly route, and stars are very far from one to another. I'm start to think 49.5ly wasn't enough to go there, I can even imagine this famous explorer laughing at my face. I'm not the kind of woman that gives up easily but after a lot of small distance jumps I had to rest. I landed at a planet just 123ly from my next waypoint, and after that I have yet to reach HEN 2-23. I think I can manage to reach there but next time I will try ploting a route through a more central part of the galaxy before reach my destination, this way I surely can have more stars to reach there. I didn't bring an SRV with me, and I'm glad I forgot to bring my fighter, I would have increased my ship's jump range before that if I knew. Now I have only materials for 3 FSD boosts, so I have to use it wisely, and I really think I only should use one to get there, otherwise I can't go back to the bubble.
