Ejected

Well, another one lesson learned I guess.I was passing through unoccupied Scorpii Sector NI-T b3-9 system during my way to Manite and decided to jump out in one of the asteroid belt clusters of the distant star to admire the landscape there. To my surprise, the cluster was not idle as I expected and several markers on my scanner were appear shortly.
I've been attacked by one of them (it was Viper Mk3) rapidly, but the rest of them didn't show interest to me even despite couple of tons of prototype tech and technical blueprints in my cargo bay, giving me enough time to handle with my attacker.
After I have finished with him I found the reason why the rest pirates were ignored me: they were busy massacring poor miner in his Lakon Type-6 - I'm just spotted it in the second before they blow him away...
There were two of them: Dangerous Cobra Mk3 escorted by greenhorn pilot in Viper Mk3. I decided to attack Cobra in hope that I could finish him quickly enough and the other guy might run away shitting bricks, but....
I realized that the game is up when my hull integrity was about 50% and the power line of right thruster was badly damaged - I had no chance to escape from Cobra and Viper, so I sent the distress message to local Imperial HQ in Zac Uaye system and initiated eject sequence without ruffle or excitement. Thanks to my new friends from Defence Force of Zac Uaye and CMDR Edgar Jacobs especially - my escape pod was successfully delivered to Leiber Hub in little less than two hours.
I think I should perform couple of more contracts for them to appreciate their help...
