Fer-de-Lance is fucking wicked. What else can I say?First of all, it's beautiful! I love its interior and exterior both. And that awesome engines sound!
The same with its handleability - I would never have thought that such fair sized ship could be such a handy vessel. And the speed performance is impressive as well.
Also, no issues with power management as far as I can see - right now I have B-rated power plant and it allows me to use four beam laser turrets and huge cannon together with A-rated thrusters, shield generator and two shield boosters, so I assume with A-rated power plant installed you could setup whatever you wish.
Meanwhile, once again I arrived at the decision that there should be at most two types of weapons on the ship. First I installed 2 railguns, 2 beam lasers and 1 huge cannon, but that kind of setup appears to be extremely counterproductive. Right now I'm using four beam turrets with a huge cannon and subsequent to the results of yesterday bounty hunting at the rings of local gas giant, it works well. Also plan to try that huge multicannon in future, but need to earn some credits first...
