Cobra MkIII

26 Jan 2018Andrew Glock
Cobra MkIII - the masterpieces of classic and iconic spaceship design, that still remains one of the most popular ship of the human space even after three centuries have passed since Cowell & McGrath Shipyard began to manufacture it. Of course the modern Faulcon DeLacy Cobra Mark III is not what it was 300 years ago, but it's still Cobra and it's still Mark III generation - the one that became an integral part of mass culture of the hyperdrive age and stereotypical image of Pilot Federation member. Besides, for me personally, it was the first ship that I being piloted before I got the license and my own Sidewinder.
Of course I had my own Cobra before as well, but eventually sold it when I bought an Asp Explorer just because the idea of maintaining of two ships sounded like unappealing option for me in that time. Now I can afford it and I want to fly it again. FEEL it again, I would even say. That's why I decided to make myself a Christmas gift buying a Cobra MkIII now.
Frankly speaking, I don't even know what exactly I'm going to do with it and how do I fit it, but I think I'm gonna try kinda stealth setup first. I know that some people says that stealth tactics are no longer efficient, but I still want to try. Eventually, I plan to focus on top rated thrusters and speed anyway, so I can always go back and try something else.
Cobra MkIII, Lave Station... So many memories.
