I am not normally one to partake in the shadier walks of live, generally there is too much risk and I like to be the nobler person out there. I have bent that rule for the moment. A group calling themselves the 'Emperor's Dawn' have been splashing out for battle weapons in the Imperial system of Kamcha. Given the money they are offering, and I want to buy myself an expensive Anaconda for exploration, I am providing assistance to that end.If I am honest the money, while a great motivator, is not the main reason I have for doing this, anything that sows a little bit of dissent in the Imperium is a plus to me. The idea that there are slaves is abhorrent and if I could I would make sure none have to work on my ship. That is a bit hard to make happen in Imperial space given how much they seem to use them.
On the plus side, it makes sure I am extra careful. I don't want to be captured and turned into one of those poor souls. The few I have interacted with seem genuinely surprised when I thank them for any help the have provided. Mortius has taken on a new paintjob for this operation, stealth is the order of business after all.
