First day on the job - Neutron Star Field

Since I left Rafferty's Mobius station yesterday I have covered over one thousand one hundred light years. The first thousand was just to reach my 'starting' system. Now I am underway with my scanning mission. Mainly I am going to be jumping from nebula to nebula on my way to a neutron star field.
I have never seen a neutron star before, well not while in the same system anyway. Some of the dangers I have heard about include how quickly you reach their dangerous gravity field once you drop out of hyperspace. Once I am in the region I will have to remember to throttle back once I am in hyperspace so that the ship will stop once I exit into the system.
Tonight I have parked up in orbit of a gas giant. Actually it is the only planet in this system. Its a large planet, probably sucked all the materials in the system before any other planets could form.
