The end of the plague?

After 3 or so days of combat with pirates in the Bast system, all the vaccine for the Cerberus plague has been shipped out. Now there is hope that all the systems affected by this insidious disease will be able to cure their citizens.On a personal note, although my home system has not yet been touched by it, I have a sense of relieve that now it should never get to it. When I left the system is was in a state of civil war, however it seems to have quietened down and not much has changed from it.
While I never really went into this with the money being the motivator, it has been good to earn about seven million credits in bounties and another ten million as reward for protecting the shipments. I am now well on my way to being able to buy an Anaconda outright. I have about fifty percent of the funds for it. I could buy it now if I part exchanged Mortius but we have been through so much together and I have a real attachment to her to just let her go.
So after all this I am back to defending my system and doing the trade routes. I may take a holiday and go back to the system of humanities birth, Sol. See the sites so to speak, maybe I will take Melissa seeing as she has been so neglected these days.
