Exploration Fever

It's been a while since I wrote one of these. Most of my missions lately have either been less than noteworthy, or top-secret, but I can, at least, talk about what I did with my most recent day pass: I went exploring, of course. I may not be a professional explorer like some people, but it's nice to get away from the bustle, noise, and gunfire of civilization from time to time.I headed anti-spinward out of the Bubble, hoping that the area would be relatively unspoiled, as it isn't on the way to the core or any major nebulas, and it turned out to be a great move. The first thing of note that I found was a world teeming with ammonia-based life, that a previous explorer had ignored. Just because a planet is dingy and brown doesn't mean it isn't interesting... or valuable.
A few systems later, I came across a remarkable bounty of worlds, terraforming candidates and water worlds including these three.
And finally, a few jumps later, this beauty:
You don't have to go several thousand light-years out of the Bubble to find interesting things, if you know where to look.
