3310-03-21-1800: After spending a few days in the Federation allied systems of Sothis & Ceos, I was informed of some possible xenobiological data in nearby systems on my return back to the home systems. A nearby station at Babbage Gate was able to outfit FP-04R Python Multirole "Death Wedge" for a 20-System expedition beginning in System: Wredguia WD-K d8-84.
3310-03-21-1848:
Success! First Sample gathered at WREDGUIA TW-J B36-1 A 3. Codex indicates the genus to be Stratum Tectonicas - Green. Visually, the bio if of a hardy bulbous mass, ranging in 1 to 5 metres in diametre, with white leaf-like veins across the surface. Colony range of 500m for genetic diversity.
Also on WREDGUIA TW-J B36-1 A 3 appears to be a bacterium on the surface, bacterium Cebrus - Teal. Light green in colour, with spiral, terrace colonies, around 30cm in size, with the bacterium stretching out to a few metres across. Colony range is again 500m.

WREDGUIA VS-S C17-11 B 9, Bio: Bacterium Cebrus - Teal. On my fifth Detailed Surface Scan in the habitable zone, found another bacterium. Starting to think these little guys love me.

Wredguia WD-K d8-91 9 A, Bio: Bacterium Aurasus - Lime.

Wredguia TH-U C16-9 B3, Bio: Stratum Tectonicas - Green.
I've come to consider that I've had little issue gathering biological data, despite my initial understanding of difficulty surveying the vastness of space and of planetary surfaces. A noted common factor for organic life are as follows:
- High Metal content or rocky bodies which are close to their main sequence stars (Although Red Giants & dwarves may also have organic lifeforms within their systems).
- Having any atmosphere from 0.01atmos and above.
- Surface temperatures from 300+Kelvin
Note: These are preliminary factors. Life may well adapt to other exceptional conditional.

I return back to the home systems, and station at Sirius. Over 23 Systems surveyed and 4 species of organic life have been sampled. Vista Genomics provided a healthy pay-day of over 44 Million credits (not that money was the motivation).
