Triple Elite and things to come

The day I graduated, becoming a Commander, was a memorable occasion so long ago. I remember getting my eagle and nearly dying several times to a lot of things that I should have known better. The sound of life support kicking in with various ships of mine losing their canopies is still always a rush. Though I swear they did something, I haven't had that happen in over a year. It's really a wild feeling realizing how much I've grown as a pilot.It's been a couple of weeks since I hit triple elite. The mail is still in my ship's databanks. It's a shame it'll autodelete after thirty days. But I suppose that helps you not dwell on it.
Something big happened, the Thargoids aren't going away. In fact we probably just pissed them off and made things worse. I don't know what to think of everything going on in HIP 22460, but I know it's bad news for our defenses. I like the guardian technology, it helps our ships get around faster, helps us defend ourselves.
At least the home front is more and more an actual home of late. I got my Aurori who has my back. The Nightingales fly together and protect each other. We fight as a team and we manage threats neither of us could do alone.
I think there's a lot to still come in this year. Even as it winds down, but I think I for one should be better about updating my journal. I was so excited to finally hit triple Elite, then life got so busy, and now the murder flowers probably are going to make life hell for everyone. It's just not a good time right now to be idling. I have goals and things I'm working on. I'm excited to hear the pilots federation is working on fixing issues with ships not working well when my friends are riding along with me. I think my next post will be about a ship I'm finally going to procure and arm up.
