A Trip On Top of The Galaxy - Entry 9

Stardate 01.03.3305It's been a far bit of time since my last entry, and actually quite a bit has happened. I journeyed back from the Scorpius Dark region and jumped all the way back to my home station of Collins in Huichi. There after much deliberation and selling of interstellar data, I went out and bought a new ship, a Krait Phantom. After updating it's internals at a nearby station that had the required fitting it was back to Collins to decide what the next trip would be. It would be one for the log books for sure...
Now, we transfer our first class cabin from our glorious Dolphin and move it to our newly bought and managed Phantom and pick up a mission for a Famous Explorer, unfortunately he doesn't feel like being named. This unknown Famous Explorer we shall call "Amira Ayala" for now. Now Amira Ayala, wants to go to a tourist site dubbed "On Top Of The Galaxy" a point located out in the core of the Galaxy in the system "Nyuena RO-Z D184". Amira though doesn't react well to danger, so we have to take that into account and try not to drop into any stars along the way. Amira is laid back and isn't to worried about delays after a brief talk about stopping for a few detours. Amira is quite secretive but says that she won't be sought after by any deviants, and isn't too worried about any illegal actions because Amira figures there won't be anyone to notice once we get far enough away from the known regions of space.
I'm not quite sure what group I picked Amira up from, but she's ending up paying 46.5 million credits and some rare Focus Crystals she's picked up from one of her other expeditions. So with this all sorted out we begin our long trek out to the core.
As I'm writing this we are in the Norma Arm, a mere 300 jumps from our final destination and cruising our way around a system with two stars. As we get closer and closer to the core we are finding more systems with multiple stars in orbit around each other and some jumps have become frighteningly close calls. I'm just going to sip my coffee and sit back and let the auto pilot scoop the last of the fuel before starting off for the next system.
