The trip home

Well...it’s a very long but straightforward trip back from the “Point”. Countless star systems have been laid before me and I can think of nothing more than to return home to civilised space. The cold darkness and unforgiving solitude is becoming very difficult to bear. Yet, I know that once settled into the warm softness of a normal bunk, I will again find myself dreaming of that which is unrequited, unsolved. The purpose of the long sojourn into the Black unfulfilled and not consolidated. This will, before long, lead me inexorably to start planning again, to set about finding the clues which elude me for I am running out of time...
