DISTANT WORLDS LOG ENTRY #5

5493 Ly from SOL.A belated log entry update, but I have arrived at Basecamp 3 at Omega Sector EL-Y D60 in the Omega Nebula (29th Jan 3302). I stopped off at a random high metal content planet on my way here and started to gather some materials and came across the wreckage of a downed ship. It was unrecognisable as a lot of it was buried, however there were two occupied escape pods lying close by. As per the Pilots Federation directive of not leaving stranded Commanders, I collect them and they're sitting in my hold. I'm not entirely convinced that they are particularly reputable as there was a cannister of narcotics also beside their pods, but you never know.....it could have been for recreational use.
I'll scout around the system and then make a head towards the next waypoint in the Eagle Nebula.
As usual, any further sights of note, I'll report back.
