Advance Team Departure
26 Jan 2019JosefK
Having been tasked with doing some scouting ahead of the fleet, Kingpin IV and her crew (just me and Lynn my overly educated but qualified SLF pilot) lifted off today at about 10 am. The crew ran our final system checks and stowed our mining gear and other non-essential crap at Omega Mining. We made pretty good time, covering 2,417 LY today, touching down on a planet full of geologic abnormalities in the Nyeajeau GN-Q B52-10 system (that's a mouthful).
Ran across 7 or 8 other systems with some geo-interest so we spent some time mapping and scanning that data for later use.
So far no trouble so the fleet should have a pretty good start tomorrow when they depart Omega.
Going to pull the shades on the Captain's cabin windows and get some rest
One interesting thing that came up as we were making out way out here. Turned on GalNet for some diversion and when the news of the completed mining initiative came on we were surprised to hear the news gal spit out the name of the system that the new station is to be built in.
CMDR out
