The ships and I are going to have to take a break from the conflict zones. We've pulled in well over a hundred million in credits this past week and it's near enough time for all of us to get a breather. Refit, restock, repose. That's the mantra.
There's been too much going on for me to downright log the nitty gritty of it all. Hell, I'm not sure I'd want to even if I had the time. These logs, they're meant for me. They're meant for reflection and... something else. Something therapeutic? Fuck if I know. But I wouldn't be shocked if they got into the wrong hands. When the people you're bombing are the same people replacing your burnt out comms array, you're bound to have trouble eventually. Maybe not this time, maybe not the next, but eventually I'll wind up with something rigged or wired to blow. Hopefully it'll be quick. Maybe it'll even be my SRV.

Nevertheless, it's worth mentioning that it was shortly after I bought the Beowulf that I met up with a fella named Gerald looking for work. Seemed like an OK guy. Not sure what station I picked him up from, but I'll be uploading his record for future reference. He's definitely rough around the edges, but he's managed to cut it so far.
Worst comes to worst, we both bite the bullet. Best case scenario is that he sticks around 'till he can afford his own ship. Most likely? He'll hop ship somewhere down the line at a station of his choosing. Only time will tell. I don't blame him either way.
