After several months kicking around in the bubble, I decided to head back into the black for some more system surveys. Heading the opposite way to last time, I headed away from the galactic core, making for the 'northern' edges of the massive area of space that it permit locked.I can only assume the locked region is Thargoid space, or something along those lines, but there's no way to know, as the jump computer will not plot that course, and there's no way I'm going to try crack it. Better minds have tried and failed.
So instead, I figured I'd map the outlying systems to the area, and see what I could find.
My first port of call was Wregoe WK-D B8-2. After doing an FSS scan of the planets, I set out the map them
B8-2: Class M
> 1: Ice, argon atmosphere, unlandable due to extreme pressure (217.58 atmospheres).
> 2: Ice, neon atmosphere, no biological traces, distress beacon present.
- It seems this system was quite interesting to some, or that the debris from one ship was scattered across the system. I went down to investigate and found several escape pods. I also detected some minerals, so collected those while there.

- Couldn't identify wreckage, collected survivors.
> 4: Ice, neon atmosphere, no biological traces, distress beacon detected.
- I found four skimmers at the site of the wreckage. After clearing them out, I gathered the salvage and picked up the escape pods.

- Detected a distress beacon, set down to investigate. Discovered a crashed fighter and one escape pod.

- I detected several distress beacons over the planet, so set down to investigate. I couldn't identify the wreckage from the first site, but picked up 6 survivors in escape pods. The second site was a crashed Condor with two escape pods, personal weapons and narcotics. The third had another crashed fighter, but no survivors. I salvaged what I could and downloaded the ships logs where able to.
