HIP 14909 Thargoid Base

April 9th 3308 - Jumped the ARX ARQUILARUM to HIP 14909 to assist a friend to activate the Thargoid Map Room at their base on planet 2A. An unfortunate oversight meant that we lacked a thargoid probe, but luckily INARA pointed us to an FC around 112LY away which sold me four of them for 8 million credits total. However, we then lost one thargoid sensor due to an incident inside the base. A third member of the party left at this point so my friend and I continued on. While we successfully inserted a link, a sensor and a probe in to the apparatus the expected light show did not happen. We have no premise as to why this failed since we have insufficient data to work with. I have two links, two probes and two sensors on the ARX AQUILARUM, so we will try again next week to activate the map room. This is quite a learning curve but quite a lot of fun too.
