DI JIAN

Today, after evading interdiction attempts on two runs to offload the Fleet Carrier I decided to change my pace and add some variety to my CG experience. I have a Federal Gunship which runs shieldless but is heavily engineered and with engineered weapons. I switched out a chaff launcher for a kill wake scanner and with a 2A FSD Interdictor already in the equipment loadout I dusted off for Di Jian.

The nav beacon was a conference of clean vessels so I sought prey in supercruise. I was not disappointed. While one vulture slipped to low wake prior to scanning the next target, an Asp Explorer, proved to be wanted and succumbed to iterdiction. Its destruction swiftly followed. Upon return to supercruise another Vulture proved to be wanted and though in a team of 2, there was no sign of their team mate. A successful interdiction rendered up both the Vulture and their team mate, a Python. The fight was on. Closing immediately with the Vulture and running my kill wake scanner I was in a struggle for survival. The Vulture took my hull down to 95% but was despatched. The Python was a tougher proposition, taking my hull down to 80% and rendering a module reinforcement package out of action. However, it was with satisfaction that I saw firstly his shields drop offline and then relentlessly ground down his hull to zero.

Over 1.25 million in bounties and space in Di Jian just that little bit safer. However, my morale much improved at introducing three criminals to the joys of unexpected immolation.
