Getting used to her

She's nothing like the clipper. I need to account for her handling more sluggish than I'm used to. But, after the last few days I'm able to weave in and out of a planets rings just well as I could in the old Nomadic.
I don't know who this "old friend" is but they saved me at least 40 million creds buying this Cutter and I don't know why either.
I scoured the decks and found no surveillance tech or any tracking bugs, nothing like that.
So why give me the huge discount? Oh well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth I guess...
It's still a new relationship, we're still getting to know each other but the new Nomadic already feels like home.
Although she is far superior in every way to that old clipper, I still find myself missing the little things, like my old chair or how the thrusters gave a little kick when you put her throttle down on a cold start.
And I suppose I'll always miss her in some way, the end of that clipper was the end of an era... But, at least she went out saving people.
40 people off that Beluga are still breathing recycled air because of her. 40 people not wasted by Salvation's screw up.
