News from the front: embedded with the Pilot's Federation

Decided to help in the war against the Thargoids, I joined the front line near Taranis. On my way there, I have been assigned a journalist, Rufus DeNeuville and his photographer, Almira 'Pixie' Keita. Here is the second article they produced as war correspondants for Rewired

The Commander Lecardunoie is doing her part

Pirates, smugglers, mercenaries, dubious businessmen, guns for hire for Frontline Solution, rogue pilots... What haven't we heard about the members of the Pilot's Federation!

It has been two weeks now that I am embedded with one of them: the Commander Lecardunoie. And of course, some of the above is true. She is very quiet about her past. And after some investigation, it turned out that she has to: 2 years ago, she has been expelled from Dromi, Otegine and Matet for political activism. Only 2 months later, she was involved with the Revolutionary Party of Veroandi and their anti-social and anti-corporation ideology and once again banned from the system after that the Federation had pacified Veroandi. As for smuggling and rogue trading, no later than four days ago, as we were on our way to resupply Maybury Enterprise, an installation in Trianguli Sector GG-Y c18, besieged by the Thargoids for weeks, she diverted the flight to meet with a mysterious Commander Tiberius. "Just made 400M credits!", she said smiling, as we were back heading for Maybury Enterprise. Who was this Commander Tiberius? Does he even exist? Was it a cover up for a highly illegal operation? At this point I have no clue.

However, and in spite of the vast majority of the Federation and Alliance citizens or Empire subjects opinion on the Pilot's Federation, our readers should not forget that its members are also responsible for some of the greatest achievements in recent times. For years, they've been the only ones exploring uncharted systems and remote galactic regions and without their contribution, the Colonia Bridge would still be a dream. When the occasion arises, they stand up!

And the recent Thargoid war is no exception.

Maybury Enterpise is the first battle that I am covering, and as I reported in my last article, the Galactic superpowers are not here to defend this small installation. But Commanders of the Pilot's Federation are.

Among them, the Commander Claude Lecardunoie, who has been helping for two weeks in resupplying Maybury with vital goods: food, water, medecines, ammunitions, weapons and raw material. This under the protection of her fellows AX fighters.

In this merciless war againts the Thargoids, members of the Pilot's Federation are doing their part. Are you?
