Journey to Asterope and begin training on Thargoid Scouts

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my journey as a CMDR. Already reaching the ranks of Elite 1 in Exploration, Trade, and Exobiology I longed to become more involved in our war with the Thargoids. After many hours of preparation I guided Widow's Son, my fleet carrier, to Asterope to engage in combat with Thargoid scouts for the first time. The adrenaline rush was palpable as I faced these alien vessels, their eerie presence sending shivers down my spine. With a mix of excitement and apprehension, I destroyed my first Thargoid scout. The feeling of accomplishment was indescribable.
