The Orpheus Expedition: Exploring Life in the Inner Arm of Orion
Preface
In 3310, after centuries of research and preparation, humanity was ready for one of the most ambitious projects in history - an expedition to the inner arm of Orion. The purpose of the mission, dubbed Orpheus, was to explore the southern part of the arm in order to obtain samples of living organisms for exobiology.

Preparation for the Expedition
Preparations for the expedition began a decade before the planned launch. Scientists and engineers from all over the world have teamed up to create a new generation spacecraft - Bumble-13. This ship was equipped with the most advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence capable of processing huge amounts of data, and biological laboratories equipped to analyze and preserve samples of living organisms.

A team of twenty people, consisting of exobiologists, astrophysicists, engineers and doctors, has been carefully selected and trained for many years. They were trained to work with the latest tools and equipment, simulated possible scenarios in virtual reality and underwent intensive training in conditions as close to space as possible.

Flight to Orion
On June 10, 3310, Bumble-13 left Earth. The whole world watched the launch, realizing the importance of this mission for the future of mankind. The journey to the southern part of the inner arm of Orion took almost four years, despite the use of the latest technology to overcome interstellar distances.

The team began preparing for the start of the mission, checking equipment and conducting training to adapt to new conditions. All the crew members felt excitement and responsibility for the upcoming research.

Research and Collection of Samples
The inner arm of Orion turned out to be an incredibly rich and diverse region. Immediately upon arrival, Atlantis IV began scanning planets and moons for the presence of life. One of the most promising objects turned out to be on a planet with the conditional name "Eridanus V". Signs of complex ecosystems existing under the surface of the planet have been found here.
