CMDR Eric Vons POV

I just received a message from Ambassador Delaney on Chione, in the Prism System. Senator Aurora Rebia didn't arrive in the right area of the Prism System. Her Majestic Class Imperial Interdictor did arrive in the Prism System, Next to the star Ruby. The Navigation Officer then popped a pill of some sort. An autopsy identified the cause of death as a fast acting self administered poison. One of the way older methods of ending a life. Called Cyanide, it was supposedly used during the 21st century by agents, spies, and infiltrators who were captured by a enemy force. The sudden drop into the Prism System next to Ruby followed by the sudden death of the navigation officer caused enough confusion on the bridge that a fleet of independent ships was able to ambush the Majestic Class Imperial Interdictor. The fleet did enough to force the crew to decide to get the Senator out using the Imperial Cutter that was along as a secondary transport. The fleet continued to press their attack on the Majestic Class Imperial Interdictor and preventing it from from assisting the Cutter when it came under attack by a second group of ships.

The second group disabled and boarded the Cutter and grabbed the Senator. They then got the hell out of dodge. They left a message saying they took her. They identified themselves as the Pilots of the Catalan Republic. They plan to use her as a negotiation tactic in their war against the Royal Praetorian Guard in the Onyama System. They left specific instructions on how I am to contact them and that only I am to contact them. That conversation was short. I managed to get them to them to let me talk to Aurora as proof of life and she gave me very, very specific instructions. She ordered me to take revenge. To bring Imperial Justice down on them in a storm of hellfire. To raze every single asset they own until they release her and surrender or I secure her release by forcing my way in and then back out again with her. Then she said a phrase that made me feel both utter horror and glad I had given Tetco the security measures of checking with me for confirmation of any order off the list that was issued by someone else besides me. "Tetco, execute Order 66 on the Pilots of the Catalan Republic." Aurora declared in a authoritative and defiant voice. "It will be done, My Lady." Tetco replied with a bow before the security measures I had implemented kicked in and stopped her from taking any other actions. Tetco turned and looked at me. Her head tilted to the side in a quizzically curious manner. It would have been able to be considered amusing if it wasn't her nonverbal cue that she was waiting for confirmation. "My Lady..." I started but she cut me off. "Commander, Imperial Honor demands it." Aurora stated firmly. "I-It... to that degree?" I sputtered out explicitly avoiding any confirmatory or declination words or gestures as I knew Tetco was waiting for me to say or do something to confirm the order.

"Yes Commander, it does. They infiltrated my capital ship and placed it under attack. Then they boarded my Cutter, then kidnapped me and are holding me hostage. So yes, honor demands it!" She declared. I sighed. And pulled up the information I had on the system and it's factions. Upon seeing that the war in the Onyama System is between the two factions and Lavigny's Legion is already backing the Royal Praetorian Guard. So I have twice as much reason to join the war and quickly made up my mind. "In the Onyama System only it will be done until your safe about the L.L.V. Hubward once more, My Lady." I said confirming that the order to Tetco was approved while also giving a limitation at the same time so Tetco wouldn't be forced to go chasing random people who bore no hand in the current situation across the galaxy purely for being a part of the faction in question. The communication channel was quickly terminated at the other end by the hostage takers. I was surprised that when Aurora had started giving out orders from the second we had established the communication channel, that we were able to talk as long as we had before they closed the channel. I'm currently heading there now. Tetco is different now. She's focused and hasn't said anything since I confirmed the Order other than that she confirmed both the order and the limitations I had added while confirming. I don't necessarily think the order was completely required. And I admit, I am worried what the after effects of the order will do to Tetco mentally. Being forced to lay waste to so many lives with no choice. Even if she wanted to actively fight the order we both know what that does to her physiology. This was one of my biggest reasons for adding those damn security measures to start with.
