While out studying planets of the Wolf-359 system we found a SOS call on our sensors, it was a destroyed Federation Starfleet ship known as the USS Antares, it's been here for almost 200 years from what we can tell on systems, we beamed aboard the Federation Starship, but life signs were negative. We found body's, it was Captain Rayner and his crew, the ship was like a ghost ship, completely empty and dead body's everywhere. Due to lack of Oxygen on the ship, it was absolutely freezing, which preserved the body's perfectly, we beamed aboard the body's to the USS Repulse's(Type-8) sick bay. During Captain Rayners time commanding the USS Antares in the 31st Century, he always made sure his crew were aware to think like their enemies and to get out of their heads, it was an amazing technique and tactic that still is used to this day. Captain Rayner and his crew also had a mutual trust, one of the best in Federation Starfleet, and to see him like this, was upsetting to say the least. I headed to my quarters and Hailed Federation Starfleet asking to speak with Admiral Quinn immediately, I gave him the knowledge of what happened and a funeral for Captain Rayner and his crew's families will be being arranged in the next coming weeks.
