Tshbeep. An intercom crackles to life. "Commander. Glad to see your awake." A male voice said. "I'm Doctor Newman. You have been given one of the new Ascendant series flight suit that Remlok manufacturers as you primarily use the flight suit over other options." He pauses, and it seems he disagrees with the idea of not utilizing the other options. Then he continues. "As you have recently transferred bodies, I was assigned to both monitor you over the past few days and brief you. To make sure we did our jobs properly this time now that it's been a few months, you understand. I would also like to know why you insist on using such a limiting option." It cuts out.
"Ok. I use it because I trust the flight suit over the others on the markets. Despite the reliability and functionality of the new suit models." I answer. The intercom beeps into life again. "Right. Anyways, the galaxy is at war, Commander. And not just with the thargoids. You have seen the reports. The Emperor was attacked. The group we both work with have come to their own conclusions on who was responsible for that attack. They had your contacts in the Brestla system send your new ship here. They also military hardened every single system aboard and have the interior designed according to your unique specifications. They also have quadrupled your senator's security measures. There's also a rumor that there's going to be another new ship on the market soon. Keep your ears open for more information on that." Doctor Newman says. "Ok." I replied.
"Commander. We expect it won't be too much longer before you can contact the senator. We'll let you know when that time arrives." "I see." I answer. "I have to go now Commander. Your ship is on pad 07. It's all registered and ready for you to claim it. Good luck, Commander. We'll probably never speak again." Doctor Newman says as his hits the observation room door release and then walks off.
