OPREP-5 Priority: Normal
Emerald Dawn (V2Q-3HY), Tjiwang
As of 2321Z28OCT3310
OVERVIEW
Carrier presence in Tjiwang has increased after the defeat of Raijin and the focus shifting to Cojico. The significant increase in AX activity against Cocijo is not expected to impact the Emerald Dawn’s primary mission of rescuing displaced Imperial citizens. In fact, it may indirectly aid our rescue efforts by keeping the Thargoid forces engaged.
Seven fleet carriers have arrived over the past 48 hours, placing significant strain on local system resources. At the request of Senator Torval’s office, the Emerald Dawn continues to provide what aid it can to local authorities in the form of raw materials and logistics support for failing ground installations. In exchange, the Emerald Dawn has been granted priority mooring near the primary star port, Back Dock, and has been given first right to purchase any open slave contracts.
The Emerald Dawn is currently providing safe harbor to 30,187 passengers and 1,324 slaves (63% capacity). No significant change in passenger levels is expected over the next 30 days as the resettlement of displaced citizens keeps pace with the influx of those being rescued. As more systems are liberated, slave levels may need to be increased in order to provide uninterrupted rebuild and repair support for damaged installations.
Fuel levels remain at 100% with an extra 3000 tons in reserve. Cargo capacity is at 32%.
A failure in #3 chiller necessitated a CASREP for the equipment. It is expected to be repaired and fully operational within the next seven days. Its load has been distributed to chillers 7 though 9 and there has been no impact on shipboard heat exchange.
Local AX Activity
Projections indicate that though Cojico currently maintains control over 157 systems, that there is a 75% likelihood of the titan falling within the next 30-45 days. AX compliments assigned to the Emerald Dawn have been released to participate in operations against the titan with the understanding that they may be recalled at any time for the protection of civilian rescue craft.
Recommendations
With the expected defeat of Cocijo, preparations should begin for the resettlement of the remaining passengers as well as a pivot in the Emerald Dawn’s primary mission.
