November 2nd, 3310I am not one who often writes in journals nor am I one who writes in general but I felt the urge to do so after purchasing my Mandalay and leaving the Bubble.
Like most pilots, we all feel a rush when we purchase our first ship, be the Sidewinder, Eagle or what have you. I haven't felt this rush since I bought my Asp Explorer....hell, since I bought my Anaconda. I was graciously granted access to purchasing the Mandalay and my god.......it's what every explorer aspires to fly.
Immediately after buying it and spending a good few hours with various engineers and outfitters, fine tuning it to my wants and needs, I left the Bubble. God, I feel alive again. I feel.....free.
