Well I guess this is it, my time at Rochon Landing in the HIP 59077 system is coming to an end. When I came here over 2 and a half years ago, I never thought I'd be away from the stars this long. I came to unload some goods and met the most wonderful woman while I was in the concourse. Thalia was her name. I spent a few days longer than I'd have liked to in order to spend some time with her, but we fell in love. A few days turned into a few weeks, months, and finally years. I spent over 2 and a half years on Rochon with Thalia. I had more than a few million credits saved up from my trade routes, enough to pay for a nice life for us. I almost thought I might never return to my life as a commander. A few months ago now, Thalia and I were discussing moving to another station, possibly even the Sol system. She adamantly refused and would not explain why, and we fought about this for weeks. Nonetheless, I began reaching out to some of my contacts about some places of living, something we could actually own. I'm not sure who, but aparrently someone valued some credits more than their discretion.
I never even saw it myself, but some bounty hunters came to Rochon. Thalia was in the concourse when they grabbed her, a few people I know saw this and reported it to me. It seems they had reason, because the authorities allowed them to take her. Nobody will tell me why, and nobody will help me find her. She put up a bit of a fight, there was some blood trailing from the concourse to the ship bays. I don't know where she is, or if she's even alive now. It's been just a few days. I've paid off my storage fees, ended my contracts in Rochon, and I'm heading to the stars.
I don't know if I'll ever find her. There's absolutely no information to go on. Either way, there's nothing left for me here at Rochon. To think I might have retired where so many have spent their lives and died among the stars. How foolish of me. I won't rest until I find her fate.
