The Diamondback Explorer is a reliable ship, tried and true. It will take care of you- as you will take care of it. And mine, the Pioneer, was my very first exploration ship and it served me well for hundreds of expeditions out into the darkest reaches of the Milkyway. It's time for retirement old girl.
Enter Zorgon Peterson's brand new ship, the Mandalay. Purchased one right off the lot for a premium fee but the beginning trial runs I have put this new ship through have proven it's capabilities. Brand new advanced micro-thruster technology to compensate for varied gravitational forces, thrust vectoring and vertical take-off landing technology, a brand new stress resistant and aerodynamic polymer weave hull made for various atmospheric conditions, but best of all the state-of-the-art interlaced polymer drive insulation technology allowing for velocity stacking of Achilles Corporation's SCO-FSD. All of which come together to minimize fuel injection needed for sustained supercruise overcharge, while also producing minimal heat and supercruise handling that's so buttery you'd think you never entered low wake.
Her name? Cogito, Ergo Sum, or Ergo Sum for short. I've minimized my engineering done as it seems the folks at Zorgon Peterson did most of the work for me. Not much work needed on stripping down spare parts or anything of that matter. Just let Farseer do her magic on the FSD and slapped a mass manager program on there as well. A perfect 65ly jump range when working in tandem with the Guardian booster.
Now what would I need such an excellent ship for? Why a challenge to essentially circumnavigate the galaxy. A 400,000ly trip to various destinations to see all the galaxy has to offer.
The future is now, old man!
