Log Entry 001 – 19 November 3310
I’ve traveled the stars for many years now, yet this is the first time I’ve taken the time to record a log. As I prepare for my next great journey, I feel it’s the right moment to document my intentions and thoughts.
In just a few days, I’ll be embarking on another exploratory mission—one that will take me further from civilization than ever before. My goal remains the same: to find Earth-like worlds, planets that we can one day call home. Previous expeditions, however, have yielded little in the way of Earth-like candidates. That said, I’ve made valuable discoveries—exotic biological specimens and uncharted systems that I’ve cataloged for the Federation’s knowledge. I’m proud to say I’ve likely contributed a number of new systems to the maps, even if the elusive Earth-like planets remain just out of reach.
But the search continues. Soon, my newly acquired fleet carrier -The Turd Farmer 2 will be fueled and fully equipped for a long-range voyage into the galactic unknown. I’ve already sent out invitations to fellow commanders to join me on this bold venture. Together, we will leave behind the safety of the bubble, setting our sights on the deeper, more unexplored regions of the galaxy.
Our planned route will take us a staggering 16,628 light-years toward the galactic core. Depending on fuel reserves, we may push further—possibly to the very center of the galaxy itself—or we may turn back to share our findings with the rest of humanity. Either way, it promises to be a journey of several months, with countless unknowns and untold wonders waiting to be discovered.
I can already feel the excitement stirring within me. The challenge ahead is daunting, but I am ready. And perhaps, just perhaps, this time I’ll find what I’ve been seeking.
