Magellan Bridge - The Search

So here we go with public logbook entry #1. This is a new and pretty exciting venture so I guess it warrants some publicity. You see my brother, Commander Travers, has decided to build a new colony right out on the far eastern side of the galaxy, near the Magellan's Star cardinal point. That's actually pretty cool. I spend most of my time living out at Colonia, so I completely get why people want to live out deep in the black.I think Travers wants to do some prospecting and sell tritium to passing carriers, but he's gonna need to get other commanders on board. Anyway, he and a buddy of his, Hig Hurtenflurst, have spent months now out there scouting for good base locations. The chances were really small but he did find a few good ones. Been to them myself recently and they're pretty cool.
He can't do all this himself though so asked if I'd help him find good bridge locations for the staging posts to get out there. Ordinarily I'd have had to say no. The Tenebrae region is 40,000ly from the bubble, so about 70,000ly for me. How lucky he was that I'd just taken delivery of my new Mandalay, or maybe it wasn't lucky, maybe he just knows me too well and got his timing right.
So I headed out. Every 5,000ly he said, find some staging posts. Now I'm a perfectionist, so it's not just systems, but they have to be interesting systems and they have to my name on them, of course, so people know who helped build the bridge. It's been hard though. Certainly for the first 20,000ly of the trip as it's pretty well worn. There are Guardian sites out that way you see so finding anything undiscovered was, well, challenging.
Then finding any undiscovered system in it with anything interesting or useful, like a water world as you can't have a bridge without water eh, was really challenging. So as frustrating as the whole thing was I pressed on and, who'd have thought it, I find some. Eight staging post areas with about three or four suitable systems in each.
I guess now it's up to Travers, but he told me to ask you all. If you're wanting to get involved and build your own outpost or settlement out in Tenebrae to drop one of us a message. No colony is ever any good without colonists, so why not get on board. Will I move there? Well if you've read my own bio you'll know that my adventures lay elsewhere, but I wish him, and everybody else going the best of luck. They'll need it.
