After spending a few years on an uncharted planet far away from the bubble, I finally decided to return to human space.It wasn't that I was avoiding the Thargoid War (though I do think they're pretty entitled to be angry with us). It was more that I just wasn't interested. However, after hearing from my brother that he was interested in starting his own Pilot's Federation career, I figured it was time to come home.
I mapped out a few systems on the way back, and discovered some interesting spots, including one gas giant with amazing potential for LTD and VP mining.
Now that I'm back proper, though, I realise I've missed 'all this'. I've been getting back into engineering, and am currently looking to get the re-christened SJCS Raider (used to be the Surprise, my stealth smuggling ship) into fighting shape - it's going to be a stealth settlement raiding ship.
The SJC and our associated Ghost Legion have been ticking along since I've been away. I'm going to need to try to integrate back into the group. I imagine many of them have forgotten who I am.
Going to be an interesting few months, I hope.
